Interested in Being a Docent?<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We are always looking for volunteers to help docent during the day of the event!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Our attendees constantly rave about Open Garden Day docents for being extremely friendly and helpful. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Responsibilities include:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Greet visitors<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Share information about the garden (provided by homeowners)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Answer questions about the event or neighborhood<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Count visitors (using provided click counter) <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Each garden requires at least four docents. Two for the morning shift from 9 am to 1 pm, and two for the afternoon shift from 12 pm to 4 pm.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    As a thank you for being a valued docent, you will have free access to tour and enjoy the gardens before or after your docent shift.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
